Mr. Waite is humbled to have been selected for a number of public recognitions over the years and blames his having outstanding students as the cause.

He was most recently selected to receive the Civic Music Association of Milwaukee‘s Music Teacher of the Year award for 2013-14 and was also named by Milwaukee radio’s B93.3 FM as it’s Teacher of the Month for November, 2013. Mr. Waite has also been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who in Education as well as the Hamilton Education Foundation, being the Class Act award recipient in 2010 among others.
